‘Performed when there were many more security gates with searchers in Belfast […] It explored the reaction of the searchers to this strange apparition. MacLennan became aware of their and his anxiety as a shared experience he could control. The canes attached to the plastic had two functions: to make the walk ‘audible’ and to keep the plastic in place by their weight.’
